House Your Soul is a collaboration of three Sydney DJ's dedicated to spreading the word about deep and soulful house music in Sydney. It can be Vocal, Gospel, Latino, Afro Beat, Disco, Classic or any other flavour you like. But its essence has depth and soul.

Our mission is to create a page not only all for Sydney's existing house heads, but also to invite anyone to check out the great sound of a dance music that is the closest relative to the original sound that led to the beginning of this genre. Also, this is about creating a family where everyone can feel welcome to connect, network and exchange ideas about House music.

To all the heads out there, you may be wondering the same thing - for such a cosmopolitan and happening city, it is ironic that we do not have a major scene that supports soulful and deep house Djs and producers. The dance music scene of our beautiful city seems increasingly dominated by electro and other commercial and harder forms of dance. Where's the love for the music that is a direct descendant of the music that started back way back in the seventies and early to mid eighties on the US East Coast in New York, Chicago and New Jersey?

The good news is, there are places to go to - (if you don't know already) we'll tell you all about them. Yet, it seems that for all the times deep and soulful house artists play for our Asian neighbours, about 2% make the trip down under! Let's show the world that we share the soulful and deep love! Sydney is craving the sound!

House music is for everyone to enjoy and embrace - great music for, singing, listening and most importantly, dancing! So put aside your ideas that House is about exclusive clubs, clothes, attitude and being seen. Jump in and you’ll see, it’s about uniting on the dance floor and having a kickass time! Consider the roots of house and its clubs - a “sanctuary” - a place where anyone could go and forget about the pressures of the world…

So to all the heads, to all the newbies, this is an invitation – to immerse yourself in the delights of a music that has a long history and still prevails - there is only one prerequisite - just look at the influences listed and you'll know.
